Celebrate 7 Years of Free Books!

Project Ready for School Party to Be Held at Warner Park!

Come celebrate Project Ready for School’s seventh birthday with United Way of Greater Chattanooga at a community-wide party on Sunday, September 18. The party will be held at Warner Park from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This celebration is FREE to the public and everyone is encouraged to join in on the fun.

Families that join the party can enjoy the following:
• Free beverages and healthy snacks;
• Free learning check-ups;
• A Free Creative Discovery Museum family pass for each child who gets a check-up;
• Free book enrollments;
• Free early learning DVDs;
• Jumping on the Moonwalk;
• Story Telling Time by Jon Chriss;
• A visit from the Chattanooga Fire Department;
• Horseback riding with Heartland Ranch;
• Zumba Dancing with the Y;
• Face Painting;
• Bird seed play with Creative Discovery Museum;
• Arts and crafts;
• A kid-friendly temporary tattoo booth and much, much more!

The party is part of Imagination Library Week, and this year it is sponsored by Chattanooga Parent Magazine.

More than 18,000 children in the five recipient counties (Hamilton and Marion in Tennessee; Catoosa, Dade and Walker in Georgia) receive age-appropriate, books in the mail each month at no cost to their families.
